Help us pack their future together! Rho Sigma Chapter invites you to support Operation Big Book Bag, our annual school supply drive benefiting local students. Donate backpacks and school supplies by August 31, 2026, and help ensure students begin the new school year ready to learn and prepared!

About the event
Rho Sigma’s 2026 Operation Big Book Bag is underway! This year, we are partnering with PDOTMUSIC’s Back 2 School Pep Rally, taking place Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Spirit Plaza in Downtown Detroit (in front of the Spirit of Detroit). The event is expected to serve more than 100 children, and our goal is to provide 100 backpacks filled with essential school supplies.
We need your help! New backpacks and school supplies can be donated through several collection opportunities:
Round-Up: Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
St. Jude Detroit Walk: August 29, 2026 the walk starts at 9 a.m. (Soror Mundy and Community Service Committee Members will collect at the end of walk.)
